End of the Fake TownHall Meeting Tour 2005 4/28/2005 6:10:30 PM
Well Dubya is done with his social security scham tour of 60 cities and 60 days... he just could not get wnough of the public's praises and prayers and all that jazz! Much like the campaign tour, an approval application had to be filled out, not open to the "public" and along with crowd prepping with no real questions and practiced phrases like: "I would like to pray with you" "I thank God you are my president" "God Bless you Mr President" or the famous "Thank you for staying the course" All white folks, a few token minorities, NO GAYS, no disabled people, or real looking people. It was like the new horror thriller HOUSE OF WAX.

Well, the Dairy Queen in my town is hiring. There''s a job created while Bush was in office. Guess there are new jobs out there. May not be high-paying low-work jobs, like most want.

Like the desert nomads used to say,""If your thirsty, go where the water is."" Ergo, if you want to work, go to where the jobs are. In the modern age of communications, there''s no more speculation as you can find out if there is a job for you before you get there.

DID YOU APPLY DAIRY QUEEN? OR IS IT TOO HARD WORK OR WAS IT THE LOW PAY THAT YOU NOTICED? HIGH PAY FOR LOW WORK IS WHAT YOU GETS YOU PAID?

I didn''t apply at dairy queen. I have a job with a decent pay and really works with my hours so that I can go to school and have time to study. The pay''s not too high, but for the work I do, I don''t complain.

I posted that just because people were talking about the jobs Bush hadn''t created. Like it''s the President''s responsibilty to create jobs in the 1st place. Look what happened with FDR. We now have a generation of leftist weinees that want everything handed to them on a silver platter.

Dannoynted1, yuor politics are showing. I can speak from personal experience about the Minutemen, because I was in a movement not unlike theirs ten years ago, except instead of guarding the border, we were protecting the Constitution. Nobody was paid, it was strictly volunteer. I have been there and done that. If you have not, then you do not know about what you criticise.

Maybe they have enough money saved up and were able to take a leave from work. Maybe they have private supportors or private individual donating money and what not to them. And maybe, just maybe, he uprooted himself and his family because of the love he has for his country. God forbid we actually do something about problems besides posting on a chat boards in our underwear. Oh, and is your caps lock button broke? I''ve got an extra keyboard you can have.

How long before $$$ is transferred in support of ""Minutemen"" the Concept? 5/1/2005 4:13:35 AM
""Dannoynted1, yuor politics are showing. I can speak from personal experience about the Minutemen, because I was in a movement not unlike theirs ten years ago, except instead of guarding the border, we were protecting the Constitution. Nobody was paid, it was strictly volunteer"". ________________________________________________________________________________ Mark, you are comparing Grapefruits & Rhubarb? Yes! Concepts that we truly beleive in we will contribute without compensation! Getting Paid is not why we do it. A true athlete does not play for the money and no amount of money is worth doing something you do not beleive in. So say they are not doing it for money and they are truly volunteers. The next step is to pay for the opportunity to be a ""Minuteman"". Something motivates them to guard the border or from what I see they are Hunting & engaging the illegals. No shots fired.......yet. So you Mark are referring to personal passion while fighting for the Constitution? Noble yes, but you were fighting for a certain interpretation of the Constitution. A favorable one with respect to your ""TEAM"". And I can feel your passion. These Minutemen, do you think they have a passion ""not unlike yours""? To guard the Border they use guns? To protect the Constitution is somewhat metaphorical and idealistic. Not physical. And not life or death. Think of the adrenaline and these guys are surely the Minutemen are not passionate enough to ""Tonk"" a couple ""Tonks""? Curmy would ""Tonk"" his share. Right Curmy? It is kind of like the KKK guarding the Mason Dixon Line! SURE THEY WILL VOLUNTEER! With these Minutemen, I will venture to say Grant writing is in their future. ________________________________________ ""I have been there and done that. If you have not, then you do not know about what you criticise"". Dannoynted1 is very intuitive to things like this. It is in her nature to discern the covert! She always jumps the gun before ""setting the hook"". Dannoynted1 is saying they are not doing it for free. They have expectations.

Re: Re: Do you like your job? 4/30/2005 3:47:13 AM
Mark, Somehow these minutemen are a bad idea. I question the motives of these ""volunteers""? What kind of people are ""volunteering""? Do you think the minutemen call the illegals ""Tonks"" as Big O has informed us the Border Patrol do. It would have to be racist whether by institution or by Anglos! If it works; imagine the corruption in the scramble for control. The Border Patrol right now are loose cannons and these minutemen will prove even more unprofessional! By the way are all of the minutemen bilingual?

Money Trail? 5/2/2005 5:09:41 AM
Follow the Ed Byrne Grant money. The COPS program. Welfare to work. And like you said they manipulate for their own agenda so everything is nice and tidy. I do have proof of a few Attorney General investigations into the corruption. Welfare investment Act was legislated under the guise of Welfare to Work but it appeals to the creativity of the Elite and rewards them heavily for ""helping the poor"". Yes it is Tax Dollars placed in a pool for the states to create programs grab the money and spend a little bit on the poor while giving more to themselves thrrough the private sector.

davidg The only conclusion that one can gather from the liberal''s comments are that they were probably raised in a family that that knows nothing other than depending on the government for their survival. When depending on the government for ones living it has to be frightening to think that you have to make decisions for themselves. Even the largest gov dependent that can add and subtract should be able to follow your examples. Good luck on your tests! gracias jaimeto

What if you ................... 4/30/2005 1:30:46 AM
Have a Professional Degree. Why would the Texas Workforce Deliberately Manipulate (sabotage) your Job Opportunities just as a family is becoming ""self sufficient""? Can I prove there was a conspiracy in Kingsville? The Police Chief Sam Granato''s Job Opportunities were modified also! He operated covertly under the Ed Byrne Grant. The Ed Byrne Grant Originates out of the Welfare Investment Act (WIA). The WIA oversight & funding is the Texas Workforce''s CASH COW! Welfare to Work, Choices Program, TANF, SELF SUFFICIENCY PROGRAM, Medicaid, INDIGENT WELFARE (for non citizens), Migrant Worker Program, Operation RIO (for convicts),Public money for the Private Sector (Corporate Welfare), Corridor Task Forces and all of the COPS Programs are funded by the WIA. Too many to list all. There is a case: Havlinka v. Schubert It is about the ""manipulation of ones job opportunities"". So for in my case it not about wanting to suck off of the Government like the elite profit off of and in the name of the poor, disabled & disadvantaged. I worked my own way through school. I mowed yards cut grass, trim tree, dig up stumps, pay Social Security, study, and I also put my wife through school. We didnt do it through the TWC. They wanted me to work at the City for Hector Hinojosa. In return my family would recieve $300 for my 80 hours per month. This idea was explained to me by Mary Cano as a way to earn employment by proving my self. When i asked Hector about this he responded, ""Why would I Hire you when I can get you for free?"". He went on explaining that it would not be good business to hire me if there came an open position because then it would take time to replace ""My freeness"". I have the evidence right here in my hands. I am only sharing this with a person who can and will take action! I started Substitute teaching and they said it did not qualify as work but then counted my earnings against my family. I have documents proving the TWC contacted EZ Pawn after my wife had been hire as Reg. Auditor. Pedro Pacheco told her the order to not hire (after She had already been hired)came from Austin! I have documents that prove the TWC contacted EZ Pawn but they do not elaborate on the nature of the call. This was at the same time the same week after she went through three interviews, background and the works. I found ""Serpent in the Garden"" by James Pinkerton and it pissed a billionaire off! Now this billionaire I used to work for as well. I will never submit to these crooks. They can blackball you in the blink of an eye! nOW i HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE!

Corporate Welfare Zone have you seen the sign? 4/30/2005 4:54:54 AM
Work-Force 1 divides region, votes down fee By Alison Beshur Caller-Times March 5, 2004 In an effort to secure a wider variety of responses to requests for proposals, the Work-Force 1 board unanimously approved changes in the models used for the contracts at a Thursday meeting. Breaking Work-Force 1''s 12-county service area into three regions and allowing agencies to apply to provide specified services creates flexibility and higher levels of expertise, according to the proposal. Advertisement Additionally, the board amended the proposal with a 12-4 vote to eliminate a $500 application fee to ensure smaller nonprofits weren''t deterred from applying. ""If the intent is to garner as many proposals as possible, which is what I heard, we don''t want to create any disincentives,"" said board member John Owen, who voted to eliminate the fee. Work-Force 1 originally included a $500 application fee to cover the nearly $10,000 cost for outside agents to handle the bidding process. Those voting to keep the fee noted it would eliminate the insincere and financially unsound bidders. ""Our obligation is to operate financially responsibly and fiscally responsibly,"" said board member Pierre Rabalais, who opposed eliminating the fee. ""If they can''t come up with $500, I would dare to say that they don''t have the wherewithal to run the program."" Work-Force 1 is responsible for the planning, oversight and evaluation of the workforce development system in the Coastal Bend region, according to the company. Under the new structure, for-profits and nonprofits can bid to provide youth or workforce services for the entire 12-county area or for one or more of the three regions. Region One includes Nueces and San Patricio counties, areas requiring urban resources. Region Two includes Live Oak, Bee, Aransas, Refugio and McMullen counties, and Region Three includes Duval, Jim Wells, Kenedy, Kleberg and Brooks counties. Regions one and two are primarily rural areas. RFPs are expected to be released Monday. The awarded contracts will go into effect July 1, when Workforce Network''s current contract expires. In other matters, the board reviewed outstanding balance sheet accounts for obligations between 1998 and 2003. Discrepancies of about $1 million in miscoded items were discovered. Another $1 million in services was not reimbursed by the Texas Workforce Commission during the year provided. Work-Force 1 President and CEO Oscar Martinez said staff would seek ways to cover the expenses. Contact Alison Beshur at 886-4316 or beshura@caller.com

Yup, a loser. If you can''t get a raise all your life, you''re pretty much a loser. And you''re an even bigger loser if your wages don''t increase whenever the minimum wage does. And yes, if he were a diamond thief loaded with cash & charisma, he''d still be a loser. Thieves are losers in my book.

The point of the loser story is pretty much to keep everything simple. Once you start giving the guy raises, it''s a whole lot harder to figure out. I guess I can do it, after my final. I''d be kind of curious as to what the answer is then.

To all of those out there who choose to whine, complain and blame anyone or anything outside of yourself or your own in competance, for any given set of cicumstances in your own life; I offer this suggestion. Grow a pair and start a business, on your own!!! Any business/ use your own money, sweat and ingenuity. Start it from the ground up. Only then will you KNOW true insecurity, risk, low wages, and the worthlessness of most workers in this area. But, If you can survive all that (which most cannot) you will also know the truest of rewards, absolute FREEDOM. God Bless a capitolistic America.

easy street. The fight for redemption does have it''s rewards! A sell out is one who betrays one''s trust. You cannot trust when you know you are betraying one who trust you! How can one be a sell out when he is sold out first? I have never betrayed. I am loyal and steadfast. But when one expects me to keep their secrets while divulging my confidences and working against me behind my back; you are damn right it gets personal and I will turn on you everytime!

"I advocate for her yes; if she is guilty then so are the black market buyers".
Yo..Perry Mason.Your "victim" had registered with several adoption agencies for the purpose of taking advantage of couples who wanted to adopt a baby. She'd scammed at least seven couples and she would've kept on doing it if she hadn't been caught.
"She has a diminished mental capacity and every single human being accused of a crime is innocent until proven guilty".
Diminished mental capacity my ass! She was smart enough to con and take advantage of several couples..she was smart enough to try to give the last couple the runaround for several days until they finally turned her into the cops..and at her arraignment, her defense was "I suffer from poor health".."my ankles are swollen".."I thought I was pregnant".."I'm retarded"..she's a scammer and a con artist,Jaime..too lazy to earn an honest living,so she tried to dupe people into buying her non-existent baby. What kind of "mother" would try to sell her own kid?..to seven different people?
"Not every single person we stand by is innocent but they are guaranteed certain inalienable rights".
Then..if they're guilty they don't deserve to have anyone stand by them..and how are her "rights" being violated?..because she was denied bond? She's a genuine, legitimate flight risk,Jaime. She's facing seven counts in Federal court of fraud and wire fraud..she's looking at SERIOUS time in a Federal penitentiary..at least ten years..and probably more. You don't think that if she were let out tomorrow, she'd be gone by tomorrow night? Tell you what,Jaimero..let's say the judge reconsiders and sets her bond at $100,000..would YOU post her bond? Would YOU put your house up as collateral?
She's already got a forgery conviction on her record..she's going away for a LOOOONG time and she knows it.."swollen ankles" and all.If her scamming ass gets out on bond, she'd be in Mexico by dark, and whoever goes her bond is going to be out a lot of money.
Some people deserve to be in jail,Jaime..and this waste of skin is one of them.
